Eerie Worlds: A Thrilling Tactical CCG Featuring Global Folklore Monsters

Rifts are rarely good news in gaming, but Avid Games has embraced the chaos in its highly anticipated game, Eerie Worlds. This tactical collectible card game (CCG) follows the success of Cards, the Universe and Everything, offering a new monster-themed adventure.

Eerie Worlds showcases a visually stunning array of monsters inspired by real-world mythology and folklore.

The game boasts an impressive roster of creatures, encompassing a diverse range of cultural mythologies. Encounter Japanese Yokai like Jikininki and Kuchisake, and Slavic monsters such as Vodyanoy and Psoglav. Bigfoot, Mothman, the Nandi Bear, El Chupacabra, and countless others from around the globe populate the game, each accompanied by detailed, historically accurate descriptions.

Strategic Depth Through Alliances and Hordes

Eerie Worlds features four Alliances (Grimbald, Zerrofel, Rivin, and Synnig) and multiple Hordes, adding significant tactical depth. Monsters share certain properties within their Hordes but may differ in others, leading to complex strategic choices.

Players build their monster collection, known as a Grimoire, and enhance it by merging duplicate cards. The game starts with 160 basic cards, with many more unlockable through merging, and additional cards planned for release soon.

Avid Games has confirmed the addition of two more Hordes in the coming months, ensuring ongoing strategic challenges and replayability.

Fast-Paced Gameplay and High Stakes Decisions

Gameplay involves constructing a deck of nine monster cards and one world card. Battles unfold over nine 30-second turns, demanding quick decision-making regarding mana usage, synergy exploitation, and more.

Prepare for a challenging and rewarding experience. Eerie Worlds is available now for free on the Google Play Store and the App Store. Download it here!
