Milly Alcock, known for her role as the young Rhaenyra Targaryen in the acclaimed Game of Thrones spinoff, House of the Dragon, faced an early challenge in her career. On just her second day on set, a high-ranking individual suggested she needed acting coaching, leaving her feeling "mortified." Alcock shared this anecdote during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show, humorously reflecting on how the experience humbled her. "It just confirmed everything that I’ve kind of known to be true, [which] is that I’m not very good at my job," she quipped, adding, "I was like, ‘I can’t do this. This is terrible. This is a big mistake.’"

Despite this early setback, Alcock's career has soared. She is set to portray Kara Zor-El/Supergirl in the upcoming Superman movie this summer and in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow next year. In House of the Dragon, she played King Viserys I Targaryen's daughter and heir as a series regular in Season 1 and made a guest appearance in Season 2, which chronicles the decline of the House Targaryen. Emma D'Arcy takes on the role of the adult Rhaenyra, who eventually ascends to the throne.
