Marvel Snap Launches Golden Gauntlet Championship

Second Dinner is rolling out an exciting global tournament for Marvel Snap players: the Golden Gauntlet World Championship Series! This inclusive, community-driven competition welcomes participants of all skill levels.

Marvel Snap Golden Gauntlet World Championship begins August 9, 2025

No rank restrictions or collection levels required - simply register, join, and compete. The first qualifying event, Golden Gauntlet Open 1, launches August 9th for APAC and Western US players. Starting at 5 PM PST, participation will be limited to 1,024 competitors.

The tournament features six Swiss round matches advancing to a Top 16 single-elimination finale. Players achieving a 5-1 record or better will qualify for the Golden Gauntlet Worlds later this year. Registration opens July 31st.

Two additional Opens follow in September and October, with Open 2 targeting Americas-based players and Open 3 serving EU and Eastern US competitors. Marvel Snap will announce exact dates and registration details via their official Discord.

Culminating in the ultimate championship

The grand finals, Golden Gauntlet Worlds, takes place November 8, 2025. More than 300 qualifiers will compete across nine Swiss rounds before the top 16 advance to playoffs, with prizes awarded to top performers.

The entire series will stream live on Marvel Snap's official Twitch and YouTube channels. This completely online, free-to-enter event was designed for the community, with no hidden costs or private invitations. It's shaping up to be an incredible showcase!
