Marvel Rivals welcomes an unexpected crossover: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2!

PlayStation announced this exciting collaboration on X/Twitter, showcasing NetEase Games' rendition of this iconic suit for their hero shooter. This sleek Spider-Man suit, originally designed for Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man, has appeared in all three installments of the series. Its distinctive white spider symbol makes it instantly recognizable. This surprise collaboration with Sony and their console-exclusive superhero game is a significant addition to Marvel Rivals. Get ready to see Spider-Man's Advanced Suit 2.0 in the in-game store starting January 30th, coinciding with Marvel's Spider-Man 2's PC release.

Launched in December, Marvel Rivals already boasts a wide array of unlockable suits. However, this Spidey suit stands out. Its connection to the popular PlayStation series and the return of Yuri Lowenthal as the voice of Spider-Man (Peter Parker) adds another layer of authenticity. Lowenthal voiced Peter Parker in all three Insomniac Spider-Man games and lends his voice to the Marvel Rivals version. Players acquiring the suit on January 30th will undoubtedly appreciate the familiar voice acting.

The inclusion of Spider-Man’s Advanced Suit 2.0 adds to the excitement surrounding Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, which launched last week. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving shortly. Creative director Guangyun Chen has pledged to introduce at least one new hero every six weeks, promising even more content.
