NetEase has unveiled its exciting Marvel Rivals Twitch Drops campaign, where players can claim a free Adam Warlock skin from Season 1.5. The announcement was made on Twitter (X) on March 12, highlighting that Season 1.5 Twitch Drops will feature exclusive rewards such as the Adam Warlock Will of Galacta Spray, Nameplate, and Costume.
The Twitch Drops campaign kicks off on March 13 at 7:00 PM PDT and runs until April 3 at 7:00 PM PDT. To secure these rewards, players need to watch Marvel Rivals streams on Twitch with Drops enabled. Remember, you must link your Marvel Rivals account to your Twitch account to claim these goodies.
Each reward comes with specific watch time requirements:
NetEase also shared on Twitter on March 1 that new skins for Loki and Storm will be available starting March 13 at 7:00 PM PDT / March 14 at 2:00 AM UTC. These skins embrace an Asgardian theme, with Loki donning the Presidential Attire and Storm transforming into the Goddess of Thunder.
Storm's new look features Asgardian armor and a hammer reminiscent of Mjolnir, dubbed Stormcaster. This design harks back to a comic storyline where Storm, having lost her powers, was given the hammer by Loki to control the elements, only to find it was part of Loki's cunning scheme. This marks the first new skin for Storm since the game's launch.
Loki's Presidential Attire, first showcased during the Marvel Rivals beta test, was one of the initial skins players could access for free. Fans have eagerly awaited its release and are hopeful that other skins from the beta, like the Spider-Punk costume for Spider-Man and the Steampunk-themed costume for Iron Man, will soon be available.
Marvel Rivals has released the patch notes for the upcoming update on their website on March 12, 2025. The update will go live on March 13 at 2:00 AM PDT without any server downtime, allowing players to jump right back into the action.
This update addresses several issues, including fixes for the voice chat overlay, frame rate affecting sensitivity, and failed sent messages. It also resolves problems with characters clipping into odd areas and includes multiple fixes for various hero skills and abilities.
Additionally, Marvel Rivals has detailed hero balance adjustments for the upcoming patch. Human Torch will see an increase in his primary attack damage and Ultimate Ability, Iron Man will have his mid-range offensive capabilities balanced, and Cloak and Dagger will receive enhancements to their healing capabilities.
NetEase is committed to enhancing Marvel Rivals through regular updates and adding more in-game content, particularly cosmetics. Marvel Rivals is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay updated with the latest news on Marvel Rivals by checking out our article below!
