This Halloween Event Is Now Live in Marvel Contest of Champions

The update introduces Scream and Jack O’ Lantern, two terrifying new champions. Scream, the symbiote with a vendetta, and Jack O’ Lantern, with his sinister habit of transforming victims into jack-o'-lanterns, promise spine-tingling encounters.

These additions heighten the thrills of the House of Horrors event, where Jessica Jones investigates a dark mystery leading to a nightmarish carnival. Jack’s Bounty-full Hunt, a gladiator-style side quest with weekly challenges and branching paths, adds another layer of spooky fun, running from October 9th to November 6th.

Celebrating 10 Years of Marvel Contest of Champions

This Halloween update coincides with the game's 10th anniversary. Kabam is commemorating the milestone with ten significant reveals, starting with Medusa and Purgatory reworks.

The Deadpool’s Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza introduces an Alliance Super Season for collaborative bounty missions. Venom-themed content, including the Venom: Last Dance event (October 21st – November 15th), further enhances the anniversary celebrations. Anniversary Battlegrounds Season 22, featuring buffed gameplay with critical hit advantages, runs until October 30th.

A Smoother Gameplay Experience is on the Horizon

A significant upgrade is coming: a 60 FPS gameplay update, launching November 4th, will dramatically improve the game's fluidity. Currently, the game is capped at 30 FPS.
