Marvel Contest of Champions Welcomes Isophyne: A Brand New Champion

Kabam is introducing a completely original character to Marvel Contest of Champions: Isophyne. This fresh addition, designed by Kabam's creators, boasts a striking design reminiscent of the film Avatar, incorporating copper-toned metallic elements.

Who is Isophyne?

Isophyne enters the Contest of Champions arena with a unique fighting style. Kabam has crafted a detailed backstory for her, hinting at a significant role in future game updates. Her defining feature is the "Fractured Powerbar" mechanic. Unlike other champions who must sequentially build power for special moves, Isophyne can freely combine and chain her specials in any order. This allows for unpredictable and highly adaptable combat strategies.

Isophyne's connection to the Founders, a mysterious group within the game, will be further explored in 2025. For now, players can appreciate her visually impressive design.

Celebrating a Decade of Champions

Kabam is celebrating Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th anniversary with a series of surprises throughout the remainder of 2024 and into 2025. October's surprises included Glorious Guardian Reworks, an Alliance Super Season, and 60 FPS gameplay. With four more surprises planned for November, players can anticipate further exciting additions.
