MapleStory Worlds is now available on mobile and PC in the Americas and Europe

MapleStory Worlds, the latest addition to the popular Nexon franchise, is now available in the Americas and Europe! This new title, available on mobile and PC, allows players to build their own experiences using both simple and advanced tools and existing MapleStory assets.

Think of it as MapleStory's version of Roblox. Players can craft side-scrolling adventures, ranging from classic MapleStory RPGs to shooting games and social hubs. The game features cross-platform play between mobile and PC, and Nexon has highlighted the monetization potential for creators. However, for many, the main draw will likely be recreating beloved MapleStory moments using enhanced tools.

A World of Possibilities (and Some Skepticism)

While intrigued, I remain somewhat cautious about MapleStory Worlds. The game's charming pixel art is undeniably appealing, yet initial fan enthusiasm seems somewhat muted. Nevertheless, the promise of diverse experiences, from platformers to zombie survival games, might make it more appealing as a standalone platform. Only time will tell how well it's received now that it's fully launched.
