Who Malice Is & How To Get the Invisible Woman Skin in Marvel Rivals

Author:Kristen Update:Jan 23,2025

The Marvel Rivals Season 1 release has ignited a frenzy, but not just for the new game modes and maps. The internet is captivated by Sue Storm's alternate persona: Malice. This guide explains who Malice is and how to acquire her skin in Marvel Rivals.

Who is Malice in Marvel Comics?

Multiple characters have borne the Malice moniker in Marvel Comics. Some are minor villains, while another is a mutant recruited by Mister Sinister. However, Marvel Rivals features Sue Storm's dark alter-ego, mirroring the Hulk's relationship to Bruce Banner.

After a miscarriage, a vulnerable Sue Storm falls prey to Psycho-Man, unleashing the malevolent Malice. Though she later escapes with Reed Richards' help, Malice resurfaces during the Fantastic Four's quest for the Infinity Gems. This pivotal event shaped Sue's character, even inspiring an adaptation in the 90s Fantastic Four animated series ("World Within Worlds").

NetEase Games clearly favored Malice's design, including her in Marvel Rivals. This skin arrives with Invisible Woman herself as part of the Season 1 update, launching January 10th, 2025.

Currently, the Malice skin's price in Lattice is unconfirmed. However, based on other skins, 2,400 Lattice is a likely cost. Keep in mind that skins often go on sale, so delaying purchase until a price drop might be wise.

Crucially, Malice will not be a Season 1 Battle Pass reward. While ten costumes are unlockable via the Battle Pass, leaks confirm none are alternate styles for the Fantastic Four.

This concludes our guide on Malice and obtaining her skin in Marvel Rivals.

Marvel Rivals is currently available on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
