The Lycan is based on a story by Jane and screenwriter David James Kelly (Logan), scripted by Mike Carey (Lucifer, The Unwritten), with art by Diego Yapur, colors by D.C. Alonso, and lettering by AndWorld Design. Tim Bradstreet (Punisher MAX, Hellblazer) provides the covers.

Here's Comixology's official description of The Lycan #1:

1777: A seasoned group of international big-game hunters, returning from Africa, are shipwrecked off a small British isle. To secure repairs and supplies for their ship, The Calydonian, they accept a task from Lord Ludgate: hunt down and eliminate the monstrous beasts terrorizing his people, including a convent of young Benedictine nuns.

The Lycan #1 will be released digitally on Tuesday, February 18th, exclusively on the Comixology Originals platform. A print collection from Ablaze Comics will follow the completion of the series.
