Radovan informs you that the sword you crafted from the Hermit’s Sword as Lord Semine’s gift has vanished. He's unaware of the thief's identity but mentions spotting a stranger in yellow sulking around earlier. Your first task is to locate this man in yellow.

You can approach and question anyone dressed in yellow about the sword, but most will deny any involvement. However, some might provide a lead, directing you to check the upper level of the stables, where they saw a man in yellow go. Upon investigating, you'll find Hans attempting to charm a woman.

Screenshot by The Escapist Hans, clad in yellow, isn't the thief, but he witnessed Svatya, the bailiff's son and the bride's brother, taking the sword. You can ask Hans about Svatya's motives or what he did with the sword, but Hans advises you to confront Svatya directly, as he didn't follow him after the theft.

Confronting Svatya

Finding Svatya is straightforward. Exit the stables and look towards the tree where the musicians are playing for the wedding guests. Svatya is to the right, drinking by the stable wall, and he's visibly carrying a sword.

Unfortunately, Svatya has already disposed of Lord Semine’s gift. He confesses to stealing it out of resentment towards Old Semine's treatment of them, aiming to embarrass him by suggesting he misplaced his son's present. Svatya didn't consider the repercussions or his father's unwillingness to shield him from theft charges.

Svatya admits he tossed the sword into the pond, lacking time to devise a better hiding spot. If you danced with Myshka, she led you to the pond post-dance. Otherwise, you can locate it by heading to Radovan’s position and looking directly behind him to find the door on the fence leading to the pond's edge.

Getting the Sword

Once you've recovered the sword, the objective shifts to returning it to Radovan. He'll inquire about the thief, and you can either reveal Svatya's involvement or dismiss the question, emphasizing the sword's recovery.

Regardless of your choice, returning Lord Semine’s sword to Radovan in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 initiates the wedding ceremony. Ensure you complete any pre-wedding tasks before speaking to Radovan. Then, offer your congratulations to the newlyweds and proceed to the next main quest.
