Heroes United: Fight x3: A Surprisingly Unashamed Rip-Off RPG

This 2D hero-collecting RPG, Heroes United: Fight x3, initially appears unremarkable. It follows the familiar formula of assembling a diverse team to battle enemies and bosses – a common trope in the genre. However, a closer look at its marketing materials reveals some…unexpected characters.

A quick glance at the game's promotional materials reveals strikingly familiar faces, including Goku, Doraemon, and Tanjiro. While the game may be inoffensive in its gameplay, the blatant use of these iconic characters, almost certainly without licensing, is undeniably brazen. It's a refreshing (if somewhat amusing) example of shameless imitation in a market often saturated with more subtle copycats.

The audacity of including such recognizable and legally protected characters is hard to ignore. It's a curious case of a game that’s simultaneously predictable in its gameplay and surprisingly bold in its marketing. The blatant rip-offs almost feel comforting in their unapologetic nature, a stark contrast to the many more subtly derivative titles released recently.

This begs the question: why settle for blatant imitations when genuinely innovative and well-crafted games are readily available?
