Konami Readies Metal Gear Solid Omega Release for 2025

Konami confirms a 2025 release for the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura stated in a recent 4Gamer interview that the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a high-quality, polished game that meets fan expectations. While the game is already playable from start to finish, the team is focused on refining details and enhancing the overall experience.

Previous speculation suggested a 2024 release, but the remake is now officially slated for next year, coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The remake aims to faithfully capture the essence of the original while incorporating updated gameplay mechanics and stunning modern graphics. Beyond visual enhancements, Okamura hinted at new features designed to elevate the gameplay experience.

Konami unveiled a captivating trailer exceeding two minutes in length near the end of September. This trailer showcased key moments from the game, including the protagonist, antagonists, an intense airdrop sequence, and thrilling firefights.
