Inferno Dragon Evolution Upgrade Now Live in Clash Royale After Long Anticipation

After years of fan demand, Clash Royale has finally introduced an Evolution form for the Inferno Dragon. This legendary unit, which had remained unchanged for nearly a decade, now receives a substantial power increase. To celebrate the launch, Supercell created a special collaboration with Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola.

A Fiery Negotiation Takes Center Stage

The beloved Inferno Dragon headlines a new Clash Royale trailer, with Leikola delivering a standout performance as the creature's persistent Hollywood agent.

The trailer shows the dragon playfully abandoning its Clash Royale battles to pursue fame in Tinseltown.

The new Evolution fundamentally changes the Inferno Dragon's combat effectiveness. Unlike its base form, which resets damage output when switching targets, the upgraded version maintains its growing damage potential, allowing for greater battlefield impact.

New Season Kicks Off With Inferno Dragon Evolution

The latest season, appropriately titled How to Evolve Your Dragon!, marks the debut of the Inferno Dragon Evolution while bringing back the popular 2v2 League mode. Players can team up with friends or random allies to climb the competitive ladder.

Starting from Arena 7, Milestone Events offer enticing rewards including 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards, an Epic Book of Cards, and exclusive cosmetic items.

The season features two Crown Chase events: The first grants a Battle Banner with matching frame and decoration plus an Epic Book of Cards; the second offers another Battle Banner alongside 3 Evolution Shards.

Throughout June and early July, players can engage with multiple special Game Modes and Challenges highlighting the new Evolution system. Key events include the Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft (June 2-9) and Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9), the latter rewarding a Battle Banner and new Emote.

Additional limited-time modes include Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16, featuring up to 4 Evolution Cards per deck), Magical Trio (June 16-23), and Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7, allowing up to 8 Evolution Cards per deck).

The game is available for download on the Google Play Store. Fans may also enjoy our recent coverage of Marvel Contest of Champions' Fantastic Four: First Steps update.
