Kingdom Come 2 Quashed by Legal Woes

Activist groups have targeted Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 following the discovery of subpoenas within the game, sparking a campaign to cancel the project. The controversy gained traction after reports surfaced online about the game's ban in Saudi Arabia, fueling speculation about its content and alleged "progressive" themes.

This led to a wave of online attacks against the developers, with calls to boycott Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and discourage support for the studio.

Warhorse Studios' PR manager, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, responded to the allegations, urging the public to trust the developers and to critically evaluate information found online.

Stolz-Zwilling confirmed that review codes would be distributed in the coming days, following the game's "gold master" status achieved in early December. These codes are anticipated to be released four weeks prior to launch, allowing streamers and reviewers ample time to prepare their content.

Interestingly, the first "final previews," based on portions of the review build, are expected to be available just a week later.
