King of Fighters ALLSTAR, Netmarble Ends Service

Netmarble's popular fighting game, King of Fighters ALLSTAR, is closing its doors this October. The announcement, made on Netmarble's official forums, confirmed that the servers will shut down on October 30th, 2024. In-app purchases have already been disabled, ending on June 26th, 2024.

This news comes as a surprise to many, given the game's generally positive reception and impressive download numbers on both Google Play and the App Store. For over six years, King of Fighters ALLSTAR delivered exciting action and numerous high-profile crossovers from the iconic King of Fighters franchise. Players praised its smooth animations and engaging PvP battles.

While the developers hinted at a potential shortage of characters to adapt as a contributing factor, the exact reasons behind the shutdown remain unclear. Recent performance issues, including optimization problems and unexpected crashes, may also have played a role.

Despite these challenges, players still have approximately four months to enjoy the game's legendary fights and unique features. Don't miss the opportunity to experience King of Fighters ALLSTAR before the servers go offline in October. Download it now from the Google Play Store.
