Konami and FIFA's collaboration for the FIFAe World Cup 2024 culminates in a thrilling competition! Viewers can watch players battle it out in both console and mobile divisions. The grand prize? A substantial $20,000 share of a $100,000 prize pool!

As previously announced, Konami's eFootball and FIFA have partnered to bring the FIFAe World Cup to Saudi Arabia. This exciting event, featuring both console and mobile gameplay, begins December 9th and will be livestreamed globally with a live audience.

Following October's qualifiers, the finalists are set. The console division boasts over 54 players from 22 countries competing in intense 2v2 matches. The mobile division features a more focused group of 16 players representing 16 different nations in 1v1 showdowns.

The top prize is a significant $20,000 from the $100,000 prize pool. Even spectators can join the excitement! Viewers tuning in from December 9th to 12th can earn up to 4,000 eFootball points and 400,000GP through daily bonuses.

This collaboration marks a significant achievement for Konami. Following high-profile partnerships with football stars like Messi and pop-culture crossovers such as the Captain Tsubasa manga, this FIFAe World Cup partnership adds another impressive accomplishment to their portfolio.

However, the impact on the average gamer, who may not typically follow major esports tournaments, remains to be seen.
