Alphadia III has officially launched on Android for global players today, marking the third installment in the beloved Alphadia series. Developed by EXE CREATE and published by KEMCO, the game initially debuted in Japan in October of the previous year.

What’s the Story in Alphadia III?

Set in the Alphadian Year 970, Alphadia III plunges players into the climactic stages of the Energi War, a monumental struggle over a mysterious life force known as energi. The world is split into three major factions: the Schwarzschild Empire in the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom in the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east, each vying for control.

As the situation teeters on the brink of collapse, the story focuses on a clone soldier named Alfonso. The narrative shifts dramatically when a girl named Tarte arrives to inform him of another clone's death, sparking a pivotal change in Alfonso's perspective.

What’s the Gameplay Like?

Alphadia III retains the classic turn-based combat system viewed from the side, presented in a charming pixel art style. The game introduces various mechanics, such as SP Skills that charge during battles and can dramatically alter the course of combat when used strategically.

Players can utilize Arrays, which are tactical formations and strategies that unlock as you progress, offering diverse approaches to combat based on the enemies you face. A unique feature is the Energi Crock, where you can deposit spare items while traveling. Over time, it converts these into Energi Elements, which can be exchanged for equipment or other rewards at specialized shops.

Throughout the game, you'll encounter various factions such as Deval, a peacekeeping alliance, and elite military units like Rosenkreutz from Nordsheim. Different energi clone models are also introduced, with Nordsheim boasting the Berger Series and Schwarzschild deploying the Delta Series.

In addition to the main storyline, Alphadia III offers a wealth of side content and is optimized for controller use. The game is available on the Google Play Store for $7.99, with a freemium version also available on Android, featuring advertisements.
