KEMCO Launches Card Deck-Building Roguelite Novel Rogue on Android

KEMCO's latest Android release, Novel Rogue, is a captivating pixel-art fantasy JRPG with roguelite elements and card deck-building mechanics. This enchanting adventure plunges players into the magical worlds contained within four mystical books.

Players assume the role of Wright, a young apprentice under the tutelage of Yuisil, the Witch of Portals, within the Ancient Library. Wright's journey involves delving into each book, each transporting him to a unique realm. One book might find him aiding a princess knight in reclaiming her kingdom, while another plunges him into the enigmatic underworld. The branching narrative ensures replayability, as choices significantly impact the unfolding story.

Gameplay Mechanics:

Novel Rogue features a turn-based card battle system, dynamically adapting to the chosen book. Each of the four worlds offers its own distinct deck-building system. After each battle, players select three new cards to enhance their deck, strategically crafting the ultimate battle strategy.

Additional gameplay features include:

• Change Command: Redistribute damage amongst allies.
• Novel Power: Enhance your deck using ink.
• Deep Record Mode: A challenging mode for experienced players seeking high-stakes battles.

Relationship building is also a key element. Collecting treasures and gifting them to characters strengthens bonds, potentially unlocking unique endings. Furthermore, Witch Stones allow players to customize character appearances.

Novel Rogue is available now on the Google Play Store as a free-to-play title. A premium version offers 150 bonus Witch Stones and additional benefits such as ad-free gameplay.
