Who Are the New Pokémon in the Pokémon Go February Community Day?

Karrablast and Shelmet are the stars of this event. During the Community Day, you'll have ample opportunities to catch these Pokémon. The real excitement comes when you evolve them. Evolving Karrablast during the event or up until February 16th at 10:00 p.m. local time will reward you with an Escavalier that knows the Charged Attack Razor Shell. This powerful move boasts 35 power in Trainer Battles and 55 power in Gyms and Raids. On the other hand, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe will grant you an Accelgor equipped with the Charged Attack Energy Ball, delivering a strong 90 power in both Trainer Battles and Gyms and Raids.

Engage with the Special Research to encounter Karrablast and Shelmet against special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, and earn rewards including a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. Additionally, a Timed Research event extends a week after the main event. By logging in during the Community Day, you'll unlock tasks that lead to more encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet, complete with the unique backgrounds.
