JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Revived by KLab with New Alliance

KLab Inc. has revealed updates on their upcoming mobile game based on the popular manga series, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Initially announced in early 2020, the project experienced delays due to a change in development partners. Initially collaborating with Shengqu Games, KLab has now partnered with Wanda Cinemas Games of Beijing to bring the game to fruition.

After overcoming development hurdles, the game is back on track for a global release (excluding Japan) in 2026. Wanda Cinemas Games boasts an impressive portfolio of mobile titles, including Hoolai Three Kingdoms Mobile Game, Calabash Brothers, Fortress Mobile Game, Saint Seiya: Legend of Justice, Tensura: King of Monsters, and The Legend of Qin.

For those unfamiliar with the source material, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a long-running manga series by Hirohiko Araki, first serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1987. The series, adapted into anime and films, features a unique blend of reality and supernatural elements, showcasing diverse storylines and epic battles against foes ranging from ancient vampires to interdimensional threats.

This isn't the first time JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has ventured into the gaming world. A Super Famicom RPG debuted in 1993, followed by numerous titles. Popular Android releases include JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Shooters (2014), JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Records (2017), and JoJo's Pitter Patter Pop! (2018).
