Niantic has unleashed Monster Hunter Now Season 4, transporting players to a breathtaking winter wonderland. Prepare for icy challenges and exciting new additions that will keep the hunt thrilling, even with virtually frostbitten fingers!

What's New in Season 4?

This season introduces a brand-new snowy tundra habitat, complete with biting winds, deep snowdrifts, and a host of formidable monsters. Making their debut are Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex. Barioth also returns, alongside smaller monsters like Wulg and Cortos. Tigrex will be a prominent foe in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlock these creatures by completing urgent quests throughout Season 4's story chapters. Finish the prologue to gain access to the tundra.

A powerful new weapon joins the arsenal: the Switch Axe! This versatile weapon boasts two modes: Axe Mode for powerful, wide-ranging attacks, and Sword Mode for ferocious close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by completing the pre-season story in Chapter 2.

Season 4 also introduces Palico companions! Customize your Palico's fur, face, and name, then snap AR photos with your unique companion in the real world.

Adding a social element, Friend Cheering lets you send temporary health boosts to friends. While helpful, there's a limit to the amount of health you can receive this way.
