Iansan Teaser Released, Varesa Officially Unveiled in Genshin Impact 5.5

Exciting news for Genshin Impact fans! The developers have finally started teasing a new character for the upcoming update 5.5. While miHoYo (now known as HoYoverse) tends to lag behind the leaks, this time they've officially revealed Varesa, a highly anticipated 5-star Electro character who wields a Catalyst in battle.

Iansan, who has been closely associated with Varesa, shares this insight:

"Varesa, my most peculiar student… No one matches her easygoing, carefree nature. No matter where she travels, she’s like a child on an adventure—always searching for delicious treats or a cozy spot to rest... But beware! If you ever fight Abyss monsters with her, the moment she gets into the zone, she turns into an unstoppable force!"

Alongside Varesa, another character is making her debut in update 5.5: Iansan. Previously an NPC, Iansan is now stepping up as a playable 4-star Electro character who wields a Polearm.
