Getting Your Horse Back in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Retrieving Pebbles

You can reclaim your original horse, Pebbles. Travel to Semine in the south and speak with the horse trader. However, retrieving Pebbles isn't straightforward. You'll need to either pay Groschen, persuade him, or intimidate him into relinquishing your horse. During my playthrough, assisting Radovan the blacksmith provided me with attire that enhanced my noble appearance, allowing me to convince the trader to return Pebbles without payment, although this did slightly impact my reputation in Semine. If persuasion fails, you'll have to pay the required Groschen.

How to Steal a Horse

Alternatively, you can acquire a horse through less scrupulous means. While wild horses are rare, farms and stables offer opportunities. Stealing a horse, however, carries the risk of being caught.

Stealing a Horse

I recommend heading to Vidlak Pond in the west. The fishermen's farmhouse there has two horses. Simply mount one and ride away.

Afterward, visit the Nomads' Camp east of Vidlak Pond and speak with the horse trainer. He can teach you how to saddle and tame your newly acquired horse, but expect to pay for his services. You can, however, choose to ride the horse untamed.
