Honkai Star Rail Version 3.0 Drops Soon with a New Storyline

Honkai Star Rail's Version 3.0, "Paean of Era Nova," launches January 15th, transporting the Astral Express from Penacony to the enigmatic new world of Amphoreus.

Amphoreus's Story: A World in Peril

This new planet is shrouded in mystery and chaos. Its inhabitants, unaware of the world beyond their borders, worship Titans whose devastating civil wars and a mysterious "black tide" have plunged the land into eternal night. Humanity clings to survival in the beleaguered Holy City of Okhema.

New Characters Join the Crew

Version 3.0 introduces two compelling new characters:

• Herta: A 5-star Ice-type powerhouse, a cosmic genius and master of AoE damage.
• Aglaea: The elegant yet deadly dressmaster of Okhema and a Flame-Chase legend, whose fighting style is synchronized with her memosprite, Garmentmaker.

The Abyss of Fate Awaits

The Trailblazer and Dan Heng venture into the ominous Abyss of Fate, a realm of ancient ruins and legends, where the three Titans—Time, Passage, and Law—once held sway over time and space. Here, they encounter Oronyx, the Titan of Time, and acquire the Path of Remembrance. They also meet Mem, a charming, if somewhat monosyllabic, new companion.

The Vortex of Genesis: A Divine Sanctuary

The final destination is the Vortex of Genesis, a sacred site for the Titans and the location of the Miracle of Genesis. Here, collected Coreflames illuminate constellations, charting the epic journeys of the Chrysos Heirs.

Returning Characters and New Rewards

The first half of the update features the return of Lingsha, Feixiao, and Jade, while the second half brings Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf. A new Preservation outfit for March 7th is available simply by logging in during the update.
