Honkai: Star Rail Leaks Reveal Screwllum Animations

Recent leaks have unveiled in-game animations for the highly anticipated Honkai: Star Rail character, Screwllum (Mechanical Aristocrat Screwllum I). Since its April 2023 launch, Honkai: Star Rail's roster has expanded significantly with each update, adding new playable characters. Update 2.3 recently introduced Firefly and a re-run banner for Ruan Mei, followed by Jade and Argenti in the second phase.

Screwllum, a mechanical lifeform and resistance leader against Genius Society #27 (Rubert I), has already appeared in the main storyline. He's also known as Genius Society member #76, residing on Planet Screwllum. A leak from fireflylover showcases Screwllum's emote or menu animations, though the data predates Version 2.0, so HoYoverse may have since updated his model.

Screwllum's Release and Abilities

Herta, another Genius Society member, has praised Screwllum's exceptional hacking skills, rivaling Silver Wolf's. Many speculate his combat animations will reflect these skills. Previous leaks suggest he'll be an offensive Imaginary character. His Skill will likely inflict multi-target Imaginary damage, scaling with ATK. His Ultimate is expected to reduce enemy Imaginary resistance and attack all enemies.

However, a concrete release date remains elusive. The recent Special Program didn't mention Screwllum, indicating he won't be arriving soon. He's confirmed absent from updates 2.3 and 2.4, which will feature Yunli and Jiaoqiu. Yunli is anticipated on the first limited banner of 2.4, with Jiaoqiu in the second phase.
