Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.0 update, In Search of the Sun, arrives January 9th, introducing Durandal's exciting new battlesuit and a host of fresh content. Prepare for thrilling new events and gameplay!

Durandal's Reign Solaris Battlesuit:

Durandal's new IMG-type Physical DMG battlesuit, Reign Solaris, boasts two dynamic forms: Rampager and Skyrider. In Rampager mode, she unleashes devastating javelin attacks. Switching to Skyrider mode, she utilizes a hoverboard for lightning-fast combos. Her ultimate involves a sky-high launch, followed by a powerful javelin strike.

New Equipment and Stigmas:

The update introduces the Valorous Effulgence weapon (and its PRI-ARM upgrade, New Voyage), perfectly complementing Reign Solaris and enhancing her QTEs and javelin attacks. A new stigma set, Illuminating the Universe, showcases Durandal's parallel universe adventures, featuring unexpected scenes like soccer, bands, and skateboarding.

Chapter VII, Part 2: Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes, returns to Mars, continuing Dreamseeker's investigation into the Ten Shus War, exploring Coralie's fate and a connection to the mysterious eye in Helia's mind.

New Cube Game and Events:

A new cube puzzle game, featuring Vita and young Durandal, offers substantial rewards, including 60 million Crystals and Source Prisms. The Countdown: To Sweet Dreams event adds a comedic twist, bringing back familiar characters like Mei, Theresa, Fu Hua, and the Herrscher of Sentience, along with Griseo, Carole, and Vita. This event includes a unique boss battle involving Kiana dodging drumsticks and a monster-training element. Rewards include emblems, Crystals, Source Prisms, and Senadina's new outfit, Steering Inequations.
