Hearthstone's Year of the Raptor: A 2025 Roadmap of Exciting Updates

Get ready for a thrilling year in Hearthstone! 2025 promises a wave of surprises, innovative gameplay, and fresh features. The usual lineup of expansions, Mini-Sets, and Battlegrounds seasons are on the way, following the apparently successful Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set. Blizzard has even unveiled a roadmap offering a glimpse into the game's future.

What's New in the Year of the Raptor?

A major highlight is the long-awaited Arena revamp. In development since last year, this update ushers in a new era for Arena players, breathing fresh life into a Hearthstone staple.

Cosmetics are also receiving a significant upgrade. Expect new Mythic skins and Signature cards, along with a brand-new addition: Pets! These adorable companions will be integrated into a new cosmetic acquisition system, although details remain under wraps for now.

The Year of the Raptor officially begins with the "Into the Emerald Dream" expansion. Card reveals commence next week, but in-game celebrations are already underway. Complete the Event Track to earn rewards including The Great Dark Beyond Epic cards, packs from the new expansion, and a Raptor Herald card.
