1047 Games, the creators of the popular "Halo-meets-Portal" shooter, Splitgate, have announced a sequel launching in 2025. This eagerly awaited follow-up, Splitgate 2, promises a fresh take on the fast-paced arena combat that captivated players in the original.

The cinematic announcement trailer showcases a visually stunning game built using Unreal Engine 5. While retaining the core portal-based gameplay that defined the original, Splitgate 2 aims for a significantly enhanced experience.
