Hades 2: Timed Exclusive for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2

Get ready, gamers! Hades 2 is making its way to both the Nintendo Switch and the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 as a timed console exclusive. While we're still waiting on an exact release date, developer Supergiant has confirmed that this eagerly awaited sequel will hit PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and the original Switch simultaneously later this year.

Last week's Nintendo Direct gave us a glimpse that Hades 2 would grace the beefed-up Switch 2, but Supergiant has now clarified that it's not just coming to both Switch versions; it'll be exclusive to Nintendo's consoles for a period, too.

"Hades II v1.0 will launch simultaneously on our Early Access platforms (Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch 2, and the original Nintendo Switch," the team announced on X/Twitter.

While the exact timeline for Hades 2's arrival on other consoles such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S remains uncertain, the excitement for its release continues to build.

Hades 2 is the sequel to Supergiant's smash hit, blending captivating storytelling with roguelite action in an immersive dungeon-crawling adventure.
