However, one essential element of any MMORPG—mounts—is also included, though the game doesn't explicitly guide you on how to acquire one. Before You Get a Mount

Before you start thinking about speeding through the world of *Rune Slayer*, you'll need to meet a couple of prerequisites:

• Reach level 20: This shouldn't take more than a few hours—typically 5 to 6 hours, or even less if you team up with friends. Keep completing Quests, Jobs, and defeating mobs to level up quickly.
• Have a tamed Pet: Taming a pet is straightforward. You'll receive a quest that walks you through the process, but here's the gist:
  • Find an animal you wish to tame, such as a Deer, Wolf, or Spider.
  • Attack it once.
  • Hold a food item that the animal enjoys (Deers love Apples, Wolves prefer Raw Deer Meat).
  • A Heart will appear above their heads, indicating you're attempting to tame them.
  • If the heart grows fully, the animal will become your pet.
  • If the heart turns black, you've failed the taming attempt. Don't worry; just try with another animal.

Once you've achieved level 20 and have a tamed pet, you're ready to proceed to the next step.

Finish the Mount Quest

Upon reaching level 20, head to **Jimmy the Stable Master** in **Wayshire**. He'll offer you a quest called **"Jimmy's Delivery"**. Your task is to deliver a package to the Stable Master in **Ashenshire**. Accept the quest and head north through Wayshire's northern entrance. Follow the road and ascend the hill into **Greatwood Forest**. Be cautious here, as the mobs can be challenging. Continue north until you reach **Ashenshire**, recognizable by the large houses atop tall trees.

Locate a rope to ascend and interact with it to climb up. The first NPC you encounter at the top will be **Madonna the Stable Master**. Although there's no quest marker, speak with her and select **"I have a package for you."** She will accept the package. Then, return to Wayshire by heading south from Ashenshire.

Once back, speak to **Jimmy the Stable Master**, who will now have an exclamation mark above his head. He'll reward you with **a Saddle**, which won't appear in your inventory to prevent accidental loss.

How to Mount Your Pet in Rune Slayer

After receiving the saddle, summon your pet by holding **"T"**. Approach your pet, and you'll see the **"Mount"** option. Press **"E"** to mount your pet. This method works with all mountable pets.
