Guide to Conquer Abyssal Corruption in Genshin Impact

In Genshin Impact, completing the "Vaulting the Wall of Morning Mist" quest automatically unlocks the "Adventure in the Land of Mists" quest. This quest continues the journey with Bona to locate the Altar of Primal Flame.

Bona guides the Traveler to the Cradle of Fleeting Dreams fortress in Ochkanatlan's northwest. Here, players must defeat Tenebrous Mimiflora before activating a mechanism to finish the quest, which then triggers the "Palace of the Vision Serpent" quest. This next mission requires purifying the Abyssal Blight within the Core of Chu'ulel.

Clearing the Abyssal Corruption

To cleanse the Abyssal Corruption, follow these steps:

1. Retrieve the Radiant Fragment from the platform.
2. Place it on the nearby Radiant Pillar to dispel the Abyssal Blight.
3. Defeat the emerging enemy.
4. Proceed to the Core of Chu'ulel: Interior's northern area.

Close5. Obtain the Radiant Fragment beside the broken bridge. 6. Position it on the Radiant Pillar in front of the bridge. 7. Descend through the floor opening. 8. Locate the Rust-Spotted Key in the library (near a jar). 9. Activate the elevator mechanism. 10. Ascend using the elevator. 11. Retrieve the previously placed Radiant Fragment. 12. Place it on the southwestern Radiant Pillar. 13. Head east. Close14. Use the Rust-Spotted Key to unlock the seal. 15. Collect the two Radiant Fragments behind the unsealed wall. 16. Place them on the northwestern Radiant Pillar to activate the elevator. 17. Obtain the Pyroculus. 18. Activate the elevator to descend. 19. Gather the two Radiant Fragments (one from the elevator, one from the pillar near the door). 20. Open the door using the adjacent mechanism.

21. Go southeast. 22. Place the final two Radiant Fragments.

This clears the Abyssal Blight, dropping the Chu'ulel Light Core. The "Palace of the Vision Serpent" quest continues by:

1. Defending the Light Core from enemies.
2. Returning to Bona at the Cradle of Fleeting Dreams fortress.
3. Speaking with Bona.

Quest completion rewards players with 50 Primogems, A Nameless Adventurer’s Notes, a Pyrophosphorite, and a Luxurious chest.
