Ned Luke, in a recent interview with Fall Damage, boldly forecasts $1.3 billion in first-day sales for GTA 6. He highlights Rockstar's knack for the unexpected, emphasizing the game's potential to surpass even GTA 5's impressive $800 million opening-day performance in 2013. Luke urges patience, assuring fans the wait will be worthwhile based on his experience with the game's development. Independent market research firm DFC Intelligence projects over 40 million copies sold and $3.2 billion in first-year revenue, with $1 billion attributed to pre-orders alone.

Although both actors express eagerness to reprise their roles, official confirmation remains elusive.

He believes the game is likely playable at this stage, with numerous internal testers already experiencing it.

Rockstar's December 2023 trailer remains the sole official communication regarding GTA 6. While earlier reports suggested a Fall 2025 release based on Take-Two Interactive's 2024 financial report, an official release date is yet to be announced.
