The Game Awards 2024: A Showcase of Gaming Excellence

Geoff Keighley's The Game Awards 2024 has unveiled its nominees across 19 categories, culminating in the coveted Game of the Year (GOTY) award. This year's contenders represent a diverse range of titles, showcasing the breadth and depth of the gaming landscape.

A Stellar Lineup for GOTY 2024

The race for GOTY 2024 is fierce, with heavy hitters vying for the top spot. Leading the pack with seven nominations is Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Challenging for the title are Astro Bot, the indie sensation Balatro, the critically acclaimed Black Myth: Wukong, the highly anticipated Metaphor: ReFantazio, and the controversial Elden Ring expansion, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. Voting is now open to the public until December 11th via The Game Awards' official website and Discord server.

Winners Announced December 12th

The Game Awards 2024 ceremony takes place on December 12th at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The event will be live-streamed globally across various platforms, including The Game Awards website, Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
