The demo features a different protagonist than the Nameless Hero; instead, players control a fellow prisoner from the Miners' Valley. Separately, THQ Nordic revealed that a free Gothic 1 Remake demo will launch on February 24th. This demo, utilizing Unreal Engine 5, focuses on Niras's prologue.
