The 2025 Golden Globe Awards celebrated a diverse range of cinematic and television achievements, with several films and shows taking home multiple awards. Shōgun's wins encompassed Best TV Drama, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Actress. Emilia Pérez achieved victories in Best Musical or Comedy, Best Non-English Language Film, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Original Song.

Colin Farrell added his name to the exclusive list of comic book villain actors winning a Golden Globe, following in the footsteps of Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix (both for their portrayals of The Joker), for his performance as The Penguin.
