GOG Resurrects Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 on PC

GOG resurrects the cult classic survival horror games, Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2, with DRM-free PC re-releases. Both titles, originally released on PlayStation, are now available via GOG's Preservation Program, ensuring their original content remains untouched.

Capcom's 1999 release of Dino Crisis, followed by Dino Crisis 2 in 2000, marked a significant era in gaming. While Dino Crisis 3 (2003) was an Xbox exclusive, a new entry or HD remake remains elusive despite fan demand. Capcom's focus on titles like Exoprimal and the statements from creator Shinji Mikami seemingly dashed hopes for a revival.

GOG's release is a welcome addition, offering improved compatibility and accessibility for modern systems. GOG highlights the preservation effort, stating Regina's iconic line, "You're extinct!", no longer applies to the games themselves.
