First Glimpse of the Early Version of The Sinking City 2

A new teaser reveals core gameplay elements for The Sinking City 2: combat, exploration, and investigation—pillars of the franchise. Note that the footage shown is pre-alpha; expect significant refinements to graphics, animations, and even gameplay mechanics before launch.

This survival horror sequel directly continues the story of the original, unfolding in a flood-ravaged Arkham. The supernatural deluge has transformed the city into a monstrous lair.

To bolster development and reward fans, Frogwares has launched a €100,000 Kickstarter campaign (approximately $105,000). These funds will also facilitate playtesting, ensuring a polished final product. The game is being built using Unreal Engine 5.

The Sinking City 2 is slated for a 2025 release on current-gen consoles (Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5) and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG).
