Genshin Impact Version 5.5 \"Day of the Flame's Return\" Drops Soon with New Challenges and Features

Genshin Impact enthusiasts, get ready for an exhilarating update with Version 5.5, dubbed "Day of the Flame's Return," set to launch on March 26th. This update promises to ramp up the intensity in Natlan, bringing a host of new content that will enhance both the storyline and gameplay.

One of the most anticipated features is the addition of controller support for Android devices, which will finally be implemented with this version. If you're eager to learn more about the supported controllers, you can find all the details here.

What Does Genshin Impact Version 5.5 Have in Store?

Prepare to venture deep into the southwestern part of Natlan, where you'll encounter a new tribe, a massive volcano, and fresh characters. The Great Volcano of Tollan holds ancient secrets and a sacred city that has slumbered for ages. With magma stirring beneath, your mission is to unravel the mystery behind the "Flamelord's Blessing" and the enigma of the Little One. Along your journey, you'll meet the Collective of Plenty, a tribe that values fitness and turns strength challenges into a way of life.

Version 5.5 introduces two new playable characters to the roster: Varesa and Iansan. Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, can restore Phlogiston after consuming food, making her a unique support character outside of battle. Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of Natlan's six heroes, blends offense and support. When a teammate triggers a Nightsoul Burst, she gains the Warming Up effect, allowing her to provide continuous healing.

The first phase of Version 5.5's Event Wishes will feature Varesa and Iansan alongside Xianyun's rerun, followed by reruns for Xilonen and Venti. Dive into all these exciting additions below.

The Bloomflower Trials Are Making a Comeback

In this update, you'll encounter Mavuika, Ifa, and other Natlan allies as you help a sick Saurian. Additionally, a new mini-game, "Saurian Treasure Seeker," challenges you to guide baby Saurians through obstacles to collect treasures. Participating in the event will allow you to invite Ororon for free.

On the challenge front, a new boss, the Lava Dragon Statue, awaits in the volcanic fissures. You can download the game from the Google Play Store and dive into this massive update once it's released.
