Clash Royale players finally have something to celebrate as the Inferno Dragon receives its long-awaited evolution. This fiery legend has soared through battles unchanged for nearly a decade - until now. Marking this momentous occasion, Supercell teamed up with Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola for a creative unveiling.

The Inferno Dragon Evolution boasts significant gameplay improvements. Unlike its predecessor which lost damage buildup when switching targets, the evolved version maintains its increasing damage power for devastating battlefield impact.

Inferno Dragon Evolution Sparks Clash Royale Season Launch

Dubbed How to Evolve Your Dragon!, the new season introduces the Inferno Dragon Evolution while bringing back the fan-favorite 2v2 League mode. Players can team up with friends or match with random partners to climb the competitive ranks.

Milestone Events starting from Arena 7 will reward players with 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards, an Epic Book of Cards, and exclusive cosmetic items.

Crown Chase #1 delivers a customized Battle Banner complete with frame and decorations, plus an Epic Book of Cards. Crown Chase #2 follows with additional Battle Banner rewards and 3 Evolution Shards.

To highlight the new Evolution cards, developers have scheduled various Game Modes and Challenges throughout June and early July. The Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft runs June 2-9, followed by the Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9) offering a Battle Banner and Emote.

Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) allows decks with up to 4 Evolution Cards. Magical Trio arrives June 16-23, followed by 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30). Evolution Bonanza caps off the season (June 30-July 7), permitting decks with up to 8 Evolution Cards.
