More gameplay and release date of DOOM: The Dark Ages is finally revealed

Bethesda and id Software showcased a new DOOM: The Dark Ages demo during the Xbox showcase, confirming earlier leaks of a May 15th release date.

Transporting players to a medieval setting, The Dark Ages promises a distinct gameplay experience from DOOM: Eternal. Forget the frantic parkour; this iteration emphasizes a more grounded, brutal approach. Players will embody a powerful, tank-like "killing machine," utilizing a heavy arsenal to decimate demons.

Central to this demon-slaying arsenal are a shield and mace. A standout feature is the inclusion of a colossal mech suit for battling smaller demons, alongside the unexpected opportunity to ride a dragon during the campaign.

The game boasts a customizable difficulty system, allowing players to fine-tune the challenge by adjusting enemy damage and other parameters.
