New Game Announced by Streets of Rage 4 Developers

Publisher Dotemu, in collaboration with studios Guard Crush Games and Supamonks, has announced the upcoming release of Absolum—a thrilling fantasy beat 'em up infused with roguelite elements. Set in the enchanting world of Talamh, which has been ravaged by a magical cataclysm, the game explores a narrative where magic is feared and manipulated by the tyrannical King-Sun Azra. He uses his Crimson Order to enslave mages, exploiting the populace's dread. Against this backdrop, a courageous band of heroes emerges to challenge his reign. This group includes the necromancer Galandra, the rebel gnome Karl, the mage Brom, and the enigmatic Sidr.

Players diving into Absolum can anticipate an adrenaline-pumping experience, featuring upgradable abilities, powerful combos, and a variety of magical spells. The game offers both single-player and cooperative modes, encouraging players to collaborate and synchronize their attacks to unleash devastating combinations.
