Freedom Wars Remastered: How To Use The Cell Garden

Quick Links

Early in Freedom Wars Remastered's main storyline, you'll need to locate the Cell Garden within your Panopticon. This area provides a safer environment for resource farming compared to standard operations. While multiple Cell Gardens exist, accessing each one follows a consistent pattern regardless of level. Below, we detail how to find and utilize any Cell Garden for efficient resource gathering.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances in Freedom Wars Remastered

Mattias's request to investigate a ghost girl story initiates your search for the Cell Garden. To begin, navigate to Level 2's main cell block (2-A000). In the block's left corner, you'll find a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with it to reach 2-E165 (Enzo's location).

Proceed to the right-hand wall in 2-E165 and locate another small room containing a device leading to 2-G100. Repeat this process once more; the far room in 2-G100 houses the device that grants access to the Cell Garden.

This route to the Cell Garden remains consistent across all levels. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement significantly reduces travel time. After completing the main quest involving the Cell Garden, you can access it freely, along with other Cell Gardens. However, acquiring a specific Entitlement is recommended first.

Each device leading to the next area or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.

How the Cell Garden Functions in Freedom Wars Remastered

The main story mission differs from subsequent Cell Garden visits. Here's how it operates outside of the initial quest:

  • A one-minute time limit applies before expulsion.
  • The room's layout changes each time.
  • Eight resources, represented by small green orbs, are scattered throughout the room.

Consider purchasing Entitlements from the Window on Liberty to extend your time within the Cell Garden. Some layouts present more complex puzzles, potentially increasing the difficulty. The first upgrade, granting a two-minute time limit, becomes available at CODE level 3.
