Forza Horizon 5 May Come to PlayStation

Forza Horizon 5 brings its open-world racing excellence to PlayStation 5

Forza Horizon 5 Stands Alone on PlayStation

Nothing on PlayStation 5 matches Forza Horizon 5's expansive open-world racing experience.

The Crew Motorfest comes closest, adopting Horizon's festival concept more thoroughly than previous entries.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown? Unfortunately not. While Horizon owes much to Test Drive Unlimited's pioneering MMO racing, Solar Crown stumbled with its always-online requirement - something Horizon has handled elegantly since 2014.

Need for Speed Unbound shines in customization but focuses too heavily on arcade-style police chases to be a true competitor.

Forza Horizon 5 remains unmatched - and now PlayStation players can experience its Mexican landscapes, perfect drifting physics, and unmatched roster of 900+ vehicles firsthand.

Dev Team Excited for New Players

"I'm super excited," says Playground Games art director Don Arceta. "For many, this will be their first Horizon experience."

The team anticipates PlayStation players will create remarkable content using Horizon 5's Event Lab tools, which now include over 800 props.

"You'll even find some great Halo content through the Event Lab props," Arceta adds.

Technical Excellence Maintained

The PlayStation 5 port delivers the same technical mastery as Xbox and PC versions - impressive given Horizon's complexity and PlayStation debut.

"Panic Button did amazing work adapting our code," Arceta explains. PlayStation players now enjoy the same premium experience.

More Than Just Racing

Lead game designer David Orton highlights Horizon's staggering variety:

"Whether you prefer road racing, Rivals challenges, photography, or content creation through Event Lab - Horizon welcomes everyone."

Arceta sums up their hopes: "The dream is hearing players say, 'I can't believe I've never played this before.'"

Orton agrees: "Seeing new players discover Horizon's welcoming world would be our greatest win."

Console tribalism may run deep, but for racing fans, one major barrier has fallen.
