"Fortnite Adds Darth Jar Jar, Star Wars Battle Pass in Galactic Season"

Fortnite is gearing up for an epic crossover with Star Wars in its next season, aptly named "Galactic Battle," set to launch on May 2, 2025. This season promises to immerse players in a Star Wars-themed experience, complete with a specially crafted Battle Pass and a thrilling five-part saga packed with surprises. One of the most exciting additions to the Battle Royale will be the introduction of Darth Jar Jar, blending the iconic Star Wars universe with Fortnite's dynamic gameplay.

The announcement was made during the Star Wars Celebration, where fans were also treated to a sneak peek of more Star Wars-themed content coming to the game. Among the new features, players can look forward to wielding Force Lightning as an in-game ability, adding a powerful new dimension to their arsenal.

The Galactic Battle season will include a Star Wars-themed Battle Pass, weekly gameplay content, and culminate in a live end-of-season narrative event. The Battle Pass will feature characters such as Emperor Palpatine and unique mashups like the Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader. New additions to the Item Shop will include Mace Windu, while players will have the chance to pilot and co-pilot iconic vehicles like X-Wings and TIE Fighters. Themed map locations will further enhance the immersive experience.

The five-part saga will unfold weekly, each with a distinct theme:

• Imperial Takeover – May 2, 2025
• The Pull of the Force – May 8, 2025
• Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
• Star Destroyer Bombardment – May 29, 2025
• Death Star Sabotage – June 7, 2025

This saga will culminate in a live in-game narrative event that promises to make players feel as though they hold the fate of the galaxy in their hands.
