Final Destination: Bloodlines is making a killing at the global box office, surpassing the $100 million mark during its opening weekend. The film raked in an impressive $51 million domestically and another $51 million internationally, totaling $102 million worldwide. This marks the highest opening weekend for any film in the Final Destination series. With such a strong start, Bloodlines is poised to become the highest-grossing movie in the franchise, potentially surpassing The Final Destination, which earned $186.1 million back in 2009.

This success signifies a robust revival for the franchise, which had been on hiatus since the release of Final Destination 5 in 2011, which grossed $157 million globally.

IGN's review of Final Destination: Bloodlines awarded it an 8/10, stating, "Final Destination: Bloodlines amps up the absurdity of Death’s design, and the resulting horror-comedy will have you dying laughing."
