In the enchanting world of *Fields of Mistria*, cultivating friendships with the locals is as vital as tending your crops. Juniper, a particularly captivating villager, offers a unique opportunity for deeper connection. While friendships blossom readily in *Fields of Mistria*, romance is reserved for a select few. As of v0.13.0, eleven NPCs, including Caldarus himself, are open to romance. Each has a heart meter that fills through interaction. To cultivate romance, engage regularly, learn their preferences, and pay attention to their likes and dislikes.

Daily conversations, completing town board requests, and daily gifting are key. Gifts should be items they love or like; birthday gifts should always be a "loved" item. This consistently boosts their heart meter. Note that currently, heart meters max at six hearts, indicating the beginning of a romantic relationship. Future updates promise 8 and 10-heart events, marriage, and children!
