FF7 Remake & Rebirth Get Patches for Input Bug

Patches for Final Fantasy VII Remake are now available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5. This update addresses controller vibration issues. The game features Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER, fighting alongside Avalanche to prevent Shinra Electric Power Company from destroying the planet.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the sequel following the heroes' escape from Midgar, receives update 1.080. This update enhances the game's atmosphere and realism through improved haptic feedback. The PC version launches January 23, 2025. This second installment expands the story and emphasizes exploration.

While Final Fantasy XVI's initial May 2024 sales were disappointing, sales eventually slowed further, falling short of projected financial year targets. Specific sales figures remain undisclosed. Similarly, Square Enix has not released sales data for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which also underperformed expectations.

However, Square Enix clarified that they don't consider Final Fantasy VII Rebirth a complete failure. They remain confident that Final Fantasy XVI can still meet its goals within the 18-month timeframe.
