Farlight 84 is Rebranding Itself with a Major Global Mobile Relaunch

Farlight 84 is set to undergo a major transformation with its global relaunch on August 7th. Since its initial release in 2023, the title has been undergoing extensive development for what will be its largest update ever.

Backed by over six years of development and more than $140 million in funding from Farlight Games, this relaunch brings significant changes to the game. Read on to discover all the new features and updates coming soon.

Farlight 84 Relaunch Brings a Massive Makeover

The upcoming update introduces a first-person perspective option, expanding beyond the previously exclusive third-person view. This new mode is enhanced with improved graphics and smoother controls for a more immersive experience.

Also revamped is the unique Buddy System, which blends creature collection with combat action. The newly updated version offers deeper strategic possibilities.

Buddy System 2.0 introduces fresh Buddies alongside a premium tier known as Super Buddies. These companions actively assist in matches by providing various perks, such as stealing enemy gear or altering the terrain to your advantage.

The new map, Nextara, is designed to maximize the game’s existing parkour combat mechanics. Building on the importance of mobility, players can now sprint, vault, and climb through a more vertical battlefield with greater fluidity.

A new hero, Kui Dou, adds fresh tactical depth to the intense 60-player battles. Additionally, an array of newly introduced and refined weapons, along with updated loadout systems, enables hundreds of unique combat configurations.

The update also includes some delightfully unconventional additions. The Rat Cannon allows players to launch themselves across vast distances, offering a fun and visually striking way to traverse the map.
