Fantastic Four reunites in the upcoming Marvel Rivals update

The highly anticipated reunion of the Fantastic Four is almost here! Marvel Rivals is getting a major update next Friday, introducing The Thing and The Human Torch to the roster.

A ranked checkpoint will be reached in 10 days, rewarding players who participated in ranked matches. Gold rank and above will unlock exclusive skins, while Grandmaster rank and higher will receive a special Crest of Honor.

However, a partial rank reset is planned, demoting players by four divisions. This decision has drawn criticism from some players who feel their progress is unfairly diminished mid-season. The concern is that this could discourage less dedicated players from participating in ranked mode.

Developers have acknowledged the negative feedback and remain open to future adjustments. If the response remains overwhelmingly negative, they may reconsider this rank reset mechanic.
